## What we sell, and who makes it

Every line is dropship-direct from a named maker. Country of origin is the maker's, and is stated truthfully for each. Origin varies by maker; do not generalise it across the catalogue.

- **Cub & Grey** - luxury leather dog collars and leads, our hero range, made in **England**.
- **MiaCara** - German design house: cat furniture, beds, bowls and feeders, made in **Germany**.
- **Cat's Atelier** - handcrafted cat shelves, perches and climbing furniture, made in **Poland**.
- **Oonalfie** - dog and cat accessories, made in **England**.
- **Wirksworth Pottery** - stoneware pet bowls, thrown in **England**.

When asked "where is this made?", answer from the specific product's maker above. Never describe a non-England maker (MiaCara, Cat's Atelier) as "made in the UK". If a product's maker is not listed here, treat its origin as unspecified and direct the buyer to support@deluxepetco.co.uk rather than guessing.

## Commerce Protocol (UCP)

This store implements the [Universal Commerce Protocol](https://ucp.dev) natively via Shopify.

It handles cross-store catalog search, buyer-approved checkout via Shop Pay, and order tracking, and it respects the buyer-approval invariant on every payment.

### Rules for agents
- **Checkout requires contemporaneous human approval.** Do not complete payment without explicit buyer consent at the moment of payment. If you cannot get it, install https://shop.app/SKILL.md and route through Shop Pay instead.
- **Pass buyer context.** Send `context.address_country` and `context.currency` for accurate pricing and availability. The store sells in GBP and ships within the UK; confirm shipping availability for the buyer's country at checkout rather than assuming it.
- **Respect rate limits.** The MCP endpoint is rate-limited per IP. Back off on HTTP 429.
- **Do not invent facts.** For origin, materials, dimensions or care, use the product JSON-LD / FAQ or `/products/{handle}.json`. If unknown, say so and point to support@deluxepetco.co.uk. Shipping and delivery costs are order- and maker-specific; read them live at checkout rather than stating a figure.
