Eat without
the stretch.
A tall dog eating from the floor has to splay its front legs or drop its head below its shoulders to reach the bowl. Bring the bowl up to meet the dog and the stretch disappears.
A dog's comfortable eating height comes from its elbow height off the floor. Bodyweight on its own will mislead you. A stocky, short-legged breed and a leggy breed of the same weight will want different feeder heights. Fixed floor bowls suit puppies and most small breeds; a raised feeder meets a taller dog where it already stands.

Measure from the floor to your dog's elbow, while they are standing naturally. Keep the bowl rim close to that height; above the shoulder is too high.

A bed that
actually fits.
A dog turns a circle, drops onto one hip, and stretches out before settling. A bed too small forces a curl when the dog wants to stretch; a bed too large lets them ignore the sides entirely. Size is the decision that matters most, more than colour or fabric.

These are the Senso's measurements. The Mondo uses the same five size names but runs a little larger at most of them, so check the size table on the bed you are buying. This is our range's own sizing standard, matched to real breeds, not an industry-wide one.
How to measure: lay a tape measure along your dog's spine, nose to base of tail, while they lie or stand naturally. Add 15–20 cm to that length for a bed that allows a full stretch. A comfortable width is roughly 60–70% of the bed's length.

A coat that
actually fits.
A dog coat is measured along the back, not by small/medium/large guesswork. Get the back length right and the coat sits where it should: covering the body without dragging at the tail or gaping at the neck.

How to measure: find the neck point where a collar naturally sits, then run the tape along the top of the back to the base of the tail, with your dog standing square. That single number is the back length the size chart is built around. A coat that runs long is more forgiving than one that runs short; if your dog measures on the boundary between two sizes, size up.

What size dog bed do I need?
Measure your dog lying on its side, nose to base of tail, and add 15–20 cm. Match that length against the size table above, which shows the Senso: five sizes from 65 × 50 cm (S) to 120 × 93 cm (L). The Mondo runs the same five size names but slightly larger at most of them (its S is 70 × 55 cm), so check the size table on whichever bed you are buying.
How high should a dog's food bowl be?
It depends on your dog's build more than its weight. Short-legged breeds are usually happiest at floor level. Taller, longer-legged dogs are often more comfortable with the bowl raised to roughly elbow height, around 15–24 cm depending on size. Measure from the floor to the elbow with your dog standing naturally, and keep the bowl rim close to that height; higher than the shoulder is too high.
How do I measure my dog for a coat?
Run a tape measure along the top of the back, from the base of the neck to the base of the tail, with your dog standing square. That back-length number is what our coat sizes (1 to 10) are built around.
What if my dog measures between two sizes?
For beds, round up. For coats, size up too; a slightly long coat is more comfortable than a short one.
Do all your dog beds use the same size scale?
No. Our Senso and Mondo box beds use the same five size names (S to L), but the measurements behind them differ. The Mondo runs a little larger at most sizes, and only ML is identical on both. A size does not carry across, so always check the size table on the bed you are buying. The Mare Cushion, Barca and Senso Pouffe run shorter size ranges suited to their lower-profile shapes, and the Covo Basket is a single size for smaller dogs.
