The living room is the most demanding room in the house. It has to hold a Sunday morning, a dinner party and a 2am thunderstorm with equal ease. Most furniture is designed for one of these moments. The pieces worth having hold up through all of them.

Pet furniture has long been the room's weak point: the basket that doesn't go with anything, the bed pushed behind the sofa, the blanket that's never quite been put away. These objects exist as concessions rather than choices. The pieces in this collection are made differently: beds with the considered lines of side furniture, baskets that work as design objects whether or not they're in use, pieces that look as though they were chosen for the room, not placed in it as an afterthought.
