MiaCara Torre Luxury Cat Tower
Bed. Scratching post. Climbing tower.
A showpiece for any living room. Furniture you'll want to show off and your cat won't want to leave.
Three pieces of cat furniture in one sculpted column. The curved panel, wrapped in design felt (90% wool, 10% polyester), is the only scratching surface your cat will need. The whole structure is a climbing tower with a sheltered cubby at the base for the cat that likes to hide and an elevated vantage at the top as a bed for the cat that likes to be noticed.
Since Brexit, goods shipped from Europe to the UK are subject to standard government import VAT (20% of item value) plus a small DHL customs handling fee, typically £8–12. This is collected by DHL on behalf of HMRC and is not a retailer charge.

Most homes with a cat end up with three separate pieces of cat furniture: a cat tree they ignore, a scratching post they half-use, and a bed they lie next to but never in. The Torre consolidates the three into one sculpted column. It was designed by Dutch furniture designer Regina Mol for MiaCara of Cologne, whose pet furniture is finished to interior-design standards.
The Torre is built to be displayed. It is a tall sculpted column finished in wood, with a deep curve running down its centre wrapped in design felt in your choice of beige or black. It reads as a piece of furniture first and a cat tower second. Most cat trees are something you tolerate in a room. The Torre is something you arrange the room around.
The cubby at the base is for the cat who hides. The platform at the top is for the cat who watches. The felt curve running between them is for the cat who scratches, and the same panel is what they use to climb to the platform above. In a multi-cat household, the cubby and the platform are usually claimed within the first week, and the cats settle into a quiet rotation.
The structure is bent plywood, with a weighted base anchoring the column against the force of a cat launching from the top platform. The wool-content felt compresses slowly under repeated claw work, so the scratching surface keeps its shape over years rather than months. The whole piece is built to stay in the room for the lifetime of the cat.
Why we chose this
The Torre stood out from MiaCara's range because most consolidated cat-furniture pieces feel like a compromise across all three jobs, and the Torre is the rare structure where each role is engineered properly rather than bundled in.
Frequently Asked Questions
What sizes does the Torre Luxury Cat Tower come in, and how big is each?
- S, 45 x 45 x 70 cm, 11.55 kg
- M, 45 x 45 x 110 cm, 21.7 kg

What is the Torre Luxury Cat Tower made from?
The Torre is built around a weighted solid wood base plate that keeps the structure grounded during even the most enthusiastic scratching sessions. The sweeping curved panel is formed from shaped plywood and wrapped entirely in a tightly woven design felt, offered in two colourways: Beige paired with an Ash Natural wood finish, or Black paired with an Ash Black Stained wood finish. The elevated platform sits at the top of the structure, providing a resting point with a full view of the room. Faux fur cushions for the platform are sold separately.
How do I clean and care for the Torre Luxury Cat Tower?
The design felt panels can be brushed gently with a dry, soft-bristle brush to remove loose hair and debris. Spot clean the wood base and frame with a lightly dampened cloth and allow to dry naturally away from direct heat. Avoid saturating the felt or using solvent-based cleaning products, as these may affect the colour and texture of the woven surface. If purchased separately, faux fur cushion care instructions are included with those items.
