Founded in 2011 by Sebastian and Barbara Zweig, MiaCara is a German design house that emerged from a gap in the market: why did contemporary interiors have to accommodate pet products rather than include them?

Their solution: apply Bauhaus principles to pet furniture. Form follows function. Materials matter. Every curve has purpose. Fine bouclé upholstery in the Mondo. SEAQUAL yarn spun from recycled marine plastic in the Mare. Orthopaedic foam. Machine-washable covers.
