The Desco raises the bowls about 10cm off the floor, the height a cat eats from naturally. The bowl walls clear the whiskers. The neck and shoulders relax. The spine straightens. Mathias De Ferm's Desco pairs that posture-correct height with a frame that reads as furniture rather than pet kit, equally at home beside the kitchen table or on a shaded patio.

Either way the bowls sit on silicone rings that stop the rattle and lift out for the dishwasher, while soft feet keep the whole piece still and silent while they eat.
