Each collar is hand-spliced by Laura in her Oxfordshire studio, working in small batches with marine-grade rope chosen for its suppleness against the neck and its resistance to the elements. The splicing technique, traditionally used in sailing and rigging, creates joins without hardware or glue, so the collar holds its structure through years of use rather than months.
The rope resists moisture, mud, and the general chaos of dog ownership, and can be gently hand-washed when needed. Because each piece is hand-spliced to order in small batches, Orders are typically dispatched within 8-10 days.
