There is something quietly satisfying about heading out across fields at dusk, your dog quartering the hedgerows ahead of you, the lanyard looped at your chest catching the last of the light. It is a small thing, but the objects we reach for every day say something about how we approach the time we spend outdoors with our dogs.
This lanyard is hand-spliced by Laura in her Oxfordshire studio, working in small batches with marine-grade rope and a solid brass keeper that develops a gentle warmth in tone over time. The olive colourway is deliberate and considered, sitting as naturally against a waxed cotton jacket as it does against muddy waterproofs after a long morning's work.
Marine rope is chosen for a reason: it resists moisture, holds its form through wet seasons and repeated use, and does not fray at the splice. Because Laura works in small batches, Orders are typically dispatched within 8-10 days.
