The making of itThe story behind the piece, and why we chose it
Your cat will find the top of the Sito cabinet before you do. One moment it is empty, the next there is a small, settled weight up there, eyes half-closed, entirely sure of itself. That is what a good perch does: it turns an overlooked surface into somewhere worth being.
Designed by the MiaCara Design Team, the Sito Seating Cushion is 1.5 centimetres thick and precisely sized at 52 by 40.5 centimetres to sit flush with the Sito cabinet's perforated top. Its cover is a premium melange fabric, soft enough that a cat will knead it once and then settle, satisfied. It comes in two considered colourways: Hemp, a warm natural beige, and Anthracite, a deep charcoal grey.
Care is simple: most stains wipe straight off, and a regular brush or a pass with an upholstery brush keeps the fabric fresh. Both Hemp and Anthracite are popular, and MiaCara restocks in batches, so the colourway you want is not always available when you come back for it.
Why we chose this
The Sito Seating Cushion solves something most cat furniture ignores entirely: making a litter cabinet look and feel like a piece of considered interior design that earns its place in any room.
