The Story
Your cat will find the top of the Sito cabinet before you do. One moment it is empty, the next there is a small, settled weight up there, eyes half-closed, entirely sure of itself. That is what a good perch does: it turns an overlooked surface into somewhere worth being.
Designed by Mathias de Ferm for MiaCara, the Sito Seating Cushion is cut from sustainable felt, 1.5 centimetres thick and precisely sized at 52 by 40.5 centimetres to sit flush with the Sito cabinet's perforated top. The felt is dense enough to hold its shape under daily use, yet soft enough that a cat will knead it once and then settle, satisfied. It comes in two considered colourways: Hemp, a warm natural beige, and Anthracite, a deep charcoal grey, both of which age gently rather than showing wear.
The cushion is machine washable, which means it stays fresh without effort, and the felt construction is built to last through years of use, not seasons. Both Hemp and Anthracite are popular, and MiaCara restocks in batches, so the colourway you want is not always available when you come back for it.
