MiaCara Pannello Cat Scratch Panel
A wall-mounted scratching panel in powder-coated metal with a replaceable felt insert. The Pannello sits flat against any wall and gives cats a fixed scratching point away from furniture.
Since Brexit, goods shipped from Europe to the UK are subject to standard government import VAT (20% of item value) plus a small DHL customs handling fee, typically £8–12. This is collected by DHL on behalf of HMRC and is not a retailer charge.

Watch your cat stretch into a full morning reach, back arched, claws finding purchase, entirely satisfied. That ritual, repeated daily, is not destructive behaviour: it is a fundamental need, and giving it a proper home transforms something you once dreaded into something you barely notice happening.
Pannello is designed by Mathias De Ferm for MiaCara, a German design house whose work has earned recognition for bringing genuine design thinking to the lives of cats and the people who live with them. The slender powder-coated metal frame holds a replaceable scratching panel made from Moulded Formfleece, a dense, robust material formed from recycled PET that gives claws exactly the resistance they want. The result sits flush against your wall, horizontal or vertical, looking far more like a considered interior detail than a concession to your cat.
Because the Formfleece panel is sold separately as a replacement, the frame itself becomes a long-term fixture rather than something you replace when it wears, making the cost easy to justify across years of use. Pannello is available in two considered colourways, Black frame with Black felt and White frame with Beige felt, and the more popular of the two can sell out between restocks given MiaCara's careful production runs.
Why we chose this
MiaCara proved that a scratching panel could earn wall space on its own design merits, and the replaceable Formfleece construction means it rewards owners who think in decades rather than seasons.
