Cub & Grey work from a small workshop in Worcestershire, cutting each collar and lead by hand from the same batch of British bridle leather, so the grain, the depth of colour, and the natural pull of the hide run in perfect agreement across both pieces. The sighthound profile follows the narrow taper of a whippet's neck, sitting flush without gaping or pinching, and the solid cast brass or silver hardware is fitted with the same unhurried care given to the leather itself.
British bridle leather is chosen precisely because it is built for a working life: it conditions with use, resists moisture, and grows more supple and characterful over years rather than months. Because every set is cut, stitched, and finished by hand, each one is genuinely individual, and production runs in small batches, so availability is never guaranteed.

Getting the right fit is essential for your hound's comfort and safety.
Step 1: Measure
Wrap a flexible tape measure around the widest part of your dog's neck (usually just below the ears).
Step 2: Add Comfort Space
Place two fingers flat under the tape measure. This ensures the collar will not be too tight.

Collar and lead are cut from the same batch of British bridle leather, ensuring a consistent grain, tone, and finish across the set. Bridle leather is a traditionally tanned hide, wax-dressed during the tanning process for natural water resistance and lasting suppleness. Hardware is solid cast metal, available in brass or silver, chosen for its weight and resistance to corrosion. Eight colour options are offered: Jet Black, British Burgundy, Cavendish Red, Whisky Tan, Midnight Blue, Sacramento Green, Naked, and Polar.
How do I clean and care for the Leather Whippet Collar & Lead Set?
Everyday cleaning: wipe with a barely damp cloth, then lay flat and let it dry naturally. Never scrub or soak the leather, and never dry it with direct heat (radiators, hairdryers or sunlight) - heat makes leather brittle and can cause it to crack.
Conditioning: apply a natural leather balm every few months, or sooner if the leather feels dry, to keep it supple and water-resistant and to build a rich patina over time.
