Why cats need height
Cats instinctively seek raised vantage points to rest and survey the room. The Double Arch Haven's long, continuous surface has room for two cats, and three steps give them a way up without claiming floor space. Vertical territory is a widely cited enrichment factor, and a longer shelf creates room for peaceful co-existence on the same platform.

The Double Arch Haven is a 100cm floating shelf with a cushion that runs the length of both arches. The Two-Cat Wall pairs it with three Cat Wall Steps, so the route up is part of the order.
A suggested layout, measured to the top of each surface: steps at about 30, 58 and 86cm from the floor, each placed to the side of the last rather than straight above it, and the shelf at about 114cm. Every climb is around 28cm, the everyday spacing most cats take in their stride. For a kitten or an older cat, close the gaps to 20 to 25cm.
Why we chose this
We paired the Double Arch Haven with three steps because its 100cm of shared surface has room for two cats, and a proper route up lets both of them reach it.

The Double Arch Haven is made from pre-bent metal. A full-length cushion runs the length of both arches, with a removable, washable cover; the base fabric and the upper cushion fabric are chosen separately from the same seven colourways.
Each Cat Wall Step has an MDF (medium-density fibreboard) core, upholstered in soft felt, on a metal wall bracket.

The Double Arch Haven: wipe the surface with a lightly damp cloth to remove dust or marks, then dry immediately. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight, which can affect the finish over time. The cushion cover removes for washing.
Cat Wall Steps: wipe the surface with a lightly dampened cloth to remove dust or paw prints. Avoid saturating the step or using solvent-based cleaners, which can lift the finish.
Check that all wall fixings remain secure every few months, particularly if your cat is an enthusiastic jumper.

How is the set mounted, and are the fixings included?
The fixings you need are included with every piece - screws, bolts and wall plugs. Each piece mounts to the wall on its own concealed bracket. The Double Arch Haven's mounting bracket has fixing centres 40.6 cm apart. On plasterboard, fix directly into a stud or beam so the wall can carry the weight securely; never fix a piece to the plasterboard alone.

Each piece is handmade to order by Cat’s Atelier in their small workshop in Poland.
How long does delivery take, and what is your returns policy?
As each piece is made to order, production plus delivery to the UK typically takes 4 to 8 working days. UK delivery is free on orders over £75, otherwise £6.99. Import fees on EU shipments are absorbed by Deluxe Pet Co, so there is nothing further to pay on delivery.
We accept returns within 30 days on unused items in their original condition.
Does the set come with a warranty?
The structural parts, meaning The Double Arch Haven's frame, each step's base and all mounting hardware, carry a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects. Cushions and fabric covers are wear items and sit outside the warranty; your statutory rights are unaffected. If an item arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours with photos.
Can I add more steps or shelves later?
Yes. Each Cat's Atelier shelf and step mounts to the wall on its own fixings, so you can add more Cat Wall Steps or another shelf later and extend the route. For an easy everyday route, space each piece around 20 to 30cm apart.
Can The Double Arch Haven be used as a wall-mounted cat bed?
Yes. The Double Arch Haven comes with a plush cushion your cat can curl up and nap on, so it works as a wall-mounted cat bed as well as a shelf.

Every shelf, house and step is made to order in a small workshop in Poland. The base carries a two-year warranty; cushions and covers are wear items and sit outside it.
